 RASANT-ALCOTEC Beschichtungstechnik GmbH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ROFIN-SINAR.
The parent company is listed on NASDAQ, the US high-tech stock exchange, with a secondary
listing in Germany. Since early 2004, the company is part of the TECDAX index.
The company focuses on industrial laser material processing. Based on its experience
spanning three decades by now, as well as an installed basis of more than 25,000 systems,
ROFIN is one of the global leaders regarding laser beam sources and laser-based systems.
A staff of approximately 1,400, employed at production facilities in the USA, Germany,
Sweden, the UK, Japan and Singapore, as well as at a multitude of sales and service
facilities all over the world are focusing on the development, production, and application
of future-oriented technologies.
