Production Facilities
RASANT-ALCOTEC Beschichtungstechnik GmbH owns a number of aluminizing plants for the production of shelving products with a modular design. These facilities are broad in scope, ranging from small to large-scale production. Apart from the aluminium plating process itself, these plants also encompass the necessary activation procedure. All treatment is performed in nonaqueous media under an inert gas atmosphere. A vacuum lock is used for loading and unloading the process chamber. The Compact Unit The compact unit featuring bath sizes of 350 x 420 x 340 [mm] lends itself to process evaluation and process optimizing; besides, it may also be used for small to medium-sized production.

The Commercial-Sized Installation The commercial-sized installation, first commissioned in 2005, features several electrolyte baths, thus allowing cost-effective large series production. Owing to the bath dimensions of 1560 x 760 x 600 [mm], even larger-sized components are electroplated without any problem. Two vacuum locks make for high production capacity and completely redundant safety and control systems guarantee optimum availability.
